pamper time

Not the best of shots, but these could pass up for mutual narcissism. Hah! Edsa Shangrila treats you like a queen. I loved every minute of our stay there. Swimming was tedious but fun. I couldn't see anything without my contacts and my roomie acted like a 3 year old jumping up and down the pool. Literally. We then spent the next hours in the sauna, uber-hot jacuzzi, and endless mirror time. Pampering yourself even if you don't deserve it that much feels so damn good. Sweating in the sauna was probably one of the best feelings in the world. The jacuzzi, on the other hand, was so hot I could make my own coffee from it. But it was all good. I regret only one thing: I should have videotaped Mary Ann's circus act. Right beside the jacuzzi was its polar opposite, and I mean "polar" as in freezing cold. I can't believe how brazen she was when all of a sudden she jumped onto the freezing water thinking it was all okay. Funniest thing I've ever seen. I just wish we could have this every month or, better yet, every week.
