A few weeks ago I thought I've been to paradise (and I've been to me too), but I never thought I'd be in two. Say wut? Lamang ng mga isa or dalawang paligo ang Calaguas Group of Islands compared to Apo Reef, or let's just say I look nothing like my original color nowadays. Pwede nakong pumasang Ms. Botswana. But it's all good. Now I can say that the "best beach" I've been to is hands down Calaguas!
Where do I start? After an almost 2-hour boat ride from Paracale (Lord we were aboard a very tiny fishing boat), we were greeted by the long, vast, white shoreline of Calaguas. The contrasting blue-green water was beyond breathtaking. It will make you want to jump right in, or, in our case, it will make you want to pose at the edge of the boat and take shameless pictures of yourself.
All of us were in awe, and it's not like we don't come from the province. We've been to a number of beautiful beaches all over the Philippines, and this (THIS) just takes the cake. Okay, yes, I have yet to go to El Nido. But for now, just wow! I dare you not to drop your jaw when you come experience Calaguas. It's perfection!

Calaguas will make you a swimmer. I swear. Imagine a natural swimming pool: no waves, crystal clear water, and flour-like sand. We even rolled literally on the shoreline. Ang sarap ng feeling humiga sa buhangin tapos panaka-nakang dumarating ang alon, para kang hinihipuan, kinikiliti, very orgasmic in a happy, wholesome way. I feel like Lolita in the Bahamas. By nighttime we were also very lucky to experience the brightest full moon of 2012. I'm grateful I got to spend time with my friends in such a beautiful, beautiful island. It makes me smile just thinking about it.
Now that I'm soooo nitty-gritty, I can't help but question what have I done to myself. I'm so dark, not tan, dark! After all these, I'll lock myself at home just to regain my color. Wow kung maka-asta parang amputi din ni mom. Whatever, three beaches down, one more to go! This is how you do summer!
