"Now the years are rolling by me
They are rockin' evenly
I am older than I once was
And younger than I'll be and that's not unusual.
No it isn't strange
After changes upon changes
We are more or less the same
After changes we are more or less the same"
-The Boxer
True.
Mellow Christmas. My father and I are listening to old songs together because I don't own a television set. The Boxer is one of his favorites. I discovered my new-found crush: Art Garfunkel 1981 Central Park Concert. Maybe it's just me, but damn he's really attractive. I'm not sure why. I like this kind of attractiveness: unique, charismatic, inexplicable. The biting of his lip at 2:18 is making me all gooey inside. Bwahahahaha. All I can say is that he's hot. Paul Simon's jawline is hot too. Ha ha ha. I watched the entire concert and I remember The Graduate. I love their songs: the lyrics, the folk tunes, the sincerity; they MAKE music.
Playlist this Christmas:
Tom Dooley by The Kingston Trio
Gone in the Morning by Newton Faulkner
Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond
As Tears Go By by The Rolling Stones
Million Years by Alexander
I Melt With You by Nouvelle Vague
Merry Christmas everyone!
(I know there's nothing Christmas-sy about this post ha ha)
