"Everyone has a talent. What is rare is the courage to nurture it in solitude and to follow the talent to the dark places where it leads." -Erica Jong
Yesterday, my less-than-two-year-old laptop died on me. Well, I saw it coming anyway. Thing is I don't have the money to buy a new one. So my dear father loaned me some money, and now I don't have any excuse not to do my job, or not to earn a living for that matter. I'm growing backwards, if that's possible.
So now it's a gloomy, Wednesday morning, and I have dodged again.
On another note, I have found a new favorite film, one that could replace my love for Before Sunrise. To all my friends, please watch Last Night starring Kiera Knightley and Guillaume Canet. If Blue Valentine and Closer had a love child, this film would be it.
I also started reading One Day by David Nicholls, and Haruki Murakami's memoir, What I Talk About When I Talk About Running. I'm hoping to finish reading books this time.
For now, let's get this thing going, baby or Carrot?
i watched this last week dai.nindut bitaw.
ReplyDeleteot, ron said he knows why you like Last Night, hahahaha.
ReplyDeleteregarding books, I bought a book "Train Man", as the english translation goes. But it's more popularly known as "Densha Otoko"- look it up on wiki. It's a very fascinating read! And easy to finish, I assure you. 5 hours on it and I'm half way through.
btw, I bought a discount card sa Fully Booked- and I ended up shopping in there. -_- There goes my paycheck...
